Selena Gomez

Selena Marie Gomez (born July 22, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television producer. After appearing on the children's series Barney & Friends (2002–2004), she received wider recognition for her portrayal of Alex Russo on the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place, which aired from 2007 until 2012.

Gomez also starred in the films Another Cinderella Story (2008), Princess Protection Program (2009), Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2009), Ramona and Beezus (2010), and Monte Carlo (2011). Thereafter, she focused on more mature roles in Spring Breakers (2012), Getaway (2013), The Fundamentals of Caring (2016), and The Dead Don't Die (2019). She voices the character of Mavis in the Hotel Transylvania film franchise, and serves as an executive producer of the Netflix television drama series 13 Reasons Why (2017–present) and the Netflix documentary series Living Undocumented (2019).

Strictly's Eddie Kadi pays tribute to 'queen' Karren Hauer after shock elimination

Strictly Come Dancing star Eddie Kadi has paid tribute to his professional partner Karen Hauer, labelling her a “queen” after the pair left the competition on Sunday night.Their shock exit came after Eddie and Karen scored 24 out of 40 for their Samba to the song Calm Down by Rema and Selena Gomez on Saturday 21 October, leaving them bottom of the leaderboard.

The dance duo faced Love Island legend Zara McDermott, 26, and Graziano Di Prima in the dreaded dance off on Sunday following the public vote.

However, despite his best efforts, the judges decided to save Zara, meaning 40 year old Eddie and 41 year old Karen missed out on Halloween week.

When speaking to host Tess Daly, Eddie shared his thoughts on his journey, as he explained: “I’ve really enjoyed this, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do – I love dancing. “This has been the highest moment of my career – it’s the happiest I’ve ever been, but not just for me – my family - my little baby girl is at home doing the Men in Black dance. “More importantly, this little African boy, I just wanted my culture to shine.
