Steven Naismith insists there is no downside to allowing the Old Firm Colts to join the league set-up. It emerged this week that Rangers and Celtic have put forward plans to move their colt teams into the Lowland League.
The proposal for the addition to the fifth tier is a one-year agreement that would void the B-teams positions at the end of the season - meaning they cannot be promoted or relegated.
It has garnered some support among fifth tier clubs who welcome the financial and commercial benefits that would come with the addition of Rangers and Celtic Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson has also revealed his hopes the plans will be green lit by the SFA to allow B teams into the division in time for next season.
