Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson insists his side could have caught Rangers in second place if the season was played to a finish.
The Fir Park club currently sit 21 points behind Rangers having played a game more and the chances of them doing it are very slim with just eight games left.
But Robinson feels that has been forgotten about in the arguments that have been ensuing following the SPFL proposal that was put forward last week.
The Northern Irishman admits he's thrilled, though, by the season his side has had and insists Motherwell's target at the start of the season is just to stay in the Premiership.
