The SPFL have fired the latest broadside in the war of words with Rangers, insisting that the Ibrox club have failed to come up with any evidence of alleged wrongdoing.

A resolution from Rangers regarding the potential early end to the season was deemed not competent by lawyers. That sparked a bitter war of words, with the Gers calling on chief executive Neil Doncaster to be suspended.

The resolution to end the lower leagues early, and grant the SPFL the power to do the same with the top flight at a later date, did not pass after Dundee failed to vote.
