Holiday-makers hoping to jet to sunny Spain over the half-term will face the nation's tough Covid restrictions, which will remain in place until 15 November.
The restrictions, which were relaxed for EU members but still apply to UK passport holders and other countries outside the EU, require people to produce proof of full vaccination, recovery from Covid, a negative antigen test result taken in the 24 hours before departure, or a negative PCR test performed in the 72 hours before departure.
Before May this year, Spain had banned any unvaccinated arrivals, but these rules were relaxed for visitors from any nation.
Spain then removed any restrictions on arrivals from EU nations, with many hoping this would be extended to UK passport holders.
