Sheridan Smith split from Alex Lawler as she was 'still in love with ex fiancé'

It has now been claimed that the reason things didn't work out between Sheridan and Alex was because she was still pining for her ex, Jamie, with whom she shares 20 month old son Billy. "Sheridan was still very much in love with Jamie when she reunited with Alex, and she was still grieving for the end of their relationship," a source said.
They added to Closer magazine that Sheridan felt as though she had "rushed" into the romance with Alex.They told the publication: "While she initially tried to pretend she was OK, it became very clear it was more of a rebound fling and that things weren't going to work out as she'd hoped." OK!
