Nearby residents heard a 'huge bang' after Lipinski lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a van on Smedley Lane, around 7.40pm on May 30, Manchester Evening News reports.

Mr Service, from Blackley, was in the back of the VW Jetta, and brother Jamie was sitting in the front.Carl Service was thrown from the car.

After the crash, Lipinski, from Rochdale, tried to get help from a nearby pub. "I need help, there’s been a crash, my mate’s dying," he said.The pub.
