holidaymakers hoping to make their getaway to Spain will have to remain patient after plans to reopen the country's border were revealed.
Passengers coming from the Schengen area will be allowed to visit Spain once again from June 21 - ten days earlier than expected, reports the Mirror.
People from the likes of Germany, Italy and France will be able to touch down on Spain for the first time since much of the country was locked down earlier this year.
The new rules mean that tourists from those countries will no longer have to quarantine upon arrival. It is bad news for Scots hoping to get a summer getaway, as the UK is not a Schengen country.
