Scots dad pounds streets dressed as Spiderman to spread joy to bored kids during lockdown

A Scots Spiderman is spreading some much needed cheer during the coronavirus pandemic by running through the streets of a Fife town.

Dave Roper decided to dress up as his favourite superhero while venturing out once a day to keep fit during the three-week lockdown.

The 36-year-old, who lives in Dunfermline, shared his plan on a community Facebook page on Wednesday and was blown away by the overwhelming support.

The ex-soldier has been cheered on by dozens of excitable residents, both young and old, as he pounds the pavements around his home.
