A Scots couple have tied the knot after the groom was given a devastating terminal cancer diagnosis just weeks ago. Julie Neilson and Michael Duffy, who are parents to five girls, got engaged last Christmas Eve.

The couple had planned to wed next year but at the start of December, Michael was given the shocking news that he had secondary cancer in his liver.
