Robertson, with director of qualifications Dr Gill Stewart, will face questions one day after Education Secretary John Swinney apologised to pupils caught up in the fiasco.

After days of political pressure and protest from pupils, Swinney announced all grades marked down by the SQA will be overturned and based on higher teachers' estimates.In a statement on Tuesday, Swinney said: "In speaking directly to the young people affected by the downgrading of awards – the seventy-five thousand pupils whose teacher estimates were higher than.
