Schoolboy's heartbreaking text to mum before he vanished almost two weeks ago
dailyrecord.co.ukThe desperate mum of a missing teen has made an appeal for the safe return of her only son. Ben Smith, 15, was last seen in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Wednesday, April 3.
His mum, Rachel Corkhill, says she last spoke to her son at their home the night before, but he seemed "not very good in himself".
When she woke up the following morning, Ben had vanished, leaving behind a text message, saying only "I love you". In a press conference held today, April 15, at Merseyside Police's headquarters, Rachel said: "When I realised Ben was missing, I was obviously heartbroken.
But the longer it goes on, it's more not knowing that he is OK, that he is safe or unsafe somewhere. I'd just like someone to let me know he's OK, reports the ECHO."Ben's my only child, who I absolutely adore.
