Patrick worked closely with King, moving the show into a new era.Here, the directors share how they pulled off the transition.Liz Patrick: I’ve been a fan of the show since I was a kid.
I used to try to stay up late and get my mom to let me watch it. But my brother is five years older, so I would watch it with him.
I’ve been a fan dating back to Gilda Radner. Patrick: There is so much, but I gravitate to the sketches that the women did. Molly Shan- non’s Mary Katherine Gallagher [character] is one of my favorites.
