Rutherglen musician takes on new challenge by scoring Rapunzel pantomime for National Theatre of Scotland

She explained: “We were approached by the show’s director, Johnny McKnight, quite early on in the development.“It seemed unlikely a regular pantomime could go ahead this year so they decided to make a film version.
It’s part theatre, part panto, part musical and a whole lot of fun.“It was a real pleasure for Lauren and I to be involved. The whole creative team and cast were amazing to work with and such a huge effort went into making it safely.“Hopefully people of all ages will tune in at home, forget about what’s going on outside for a wee hour and escape to that magical festive world that theatre, film and music takes us to.”The production itself was filmed in.
