pubs and restaurants have been welcoming back punters indoors for the first time in almost four months today. The Scottish Government has lifted a number of restrictions on the lockdown, which have all taken effect from Wednesday, July 15.

Pubgoers have already spent the last week flocking to beer gardens up and down the country - but now they can take their drinks indoors.

Nicola Sturgeon said in her daily press conference today that she is feeling ‘nervous’ about the reopening of indoor hospitality due to the heightened risk of coronavirus spreading in an enclosed space.
