Kate's trip to Ireland took place just weeks after the brief split for the couple and before the media was made aware of the news.
Kate and William were believed to have ended their relationship in March 2007, with reports on 14 April revealing the break up after four years together.
They were back together by June that same year and were pictured together in October 2007. Kate 'politely declined' speaking to reporters whilst on her trip to Dublin and did not take part in press interviews whilst visiting her first exhibition, the Irish Times reported.
