Bolton Wanderers stance on Dapo Afolayan contract after transfer window conclusion

Bolton Wanderers are comfortable with the contract situation surrounding attacker Dapo Afolayan and Ian Evatt says decisions on other players whose terms are up next summer are not ready to be taken yet.

Afolayan has been at Wanderers since the start of 2021. An initial loan spell from West Ham United was converted to a permanent move last summer following his release by the Premier League side.

He signed a three-year deal with Bolton and his contract runs until the middle of 2024. He was the club's top scorer and player of the season last campaign after firing in 14 goals.
