Rochelle Humes has seemingly been left in awe of her eldest daughter shortly after her husband Marvin's comments about a conversation they had were broadcast.

The JLS star was heard talking to Fleur East in an emotive Black History Month documentary, Raising the Next Generation. Having become a parent earlier this year Fleur is exploring what it means to raise a mixed race or black child in the UK today.

She was joined by Marvin as well as Angellica Bell, Marvin Humes, JB Gill, Oti Mabuse and Candice Braithwaite for the special recorded in the Hits Radio studio where she's often hard on the Hits Radio Breakfast show with co-host James Barr. "Ultimately it’s about having those honest, open conversations and it’s about letting our kids know that they’re beautiful and they can go on to achieve whatever they want to achieve…" As part of his conversation with Fleur, Marvin was heard talking about the conversation Rochelle had with their eldest daughter, Alaia-Mai, about her curly hair.

Strictly It Takes Two host Fleur started by saying: "When I was a young girl, I didn't really embrace my natural curls. Believing that my hair's not necessarily beautiful or accepted so I would always straighten it... "When I hit about 15/16 I decided to just really embrace [my curls].
