River City stars wants Scots to send them stories so they can do their bit to help with home schooling amid the coronavirus crisis.
Actor Iain Robertson, who plays Stevie O'Hara on the Glasgow-set soap, made an appeal for people to give them a hand to make his idea a reality.The 38-year-old has pledged that he and fellow cast members on the long-running BBC Scotland series will help the millions of parents at home across the country who now have to educate their wee ones as schools are closed in the wake of the health crisis.In a bid to add more resources for those struggling to keep up with the mammoth task, the actors will record a bank of short stories which can be accessed from makeshift classrooms wherever they may be!
