William Crowney, known as Scott, ran a drugs empire in Runcorn, Cheshire, who police said brought heroin and crack cocaine in from Merseyside and were the 'dominant force' in dealing it in the town.

And in a bid to enforce his position he oversaw a reign of terror which saw thugs smash their way into vulnerable people's homes and using them as drug dens.
