As Armistice Day approaches, it is a time to reflect and remember those we have lost in service and show our support to serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families.

November 11, which is also recognised at Remembrance Day, will see a two minutes silence held across the country at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

This year, Remembrance Sunday falls on November 14 and services to mark the occasion will take place across Greater Manchester.

Many Remembrance Day events across Greater Manchester were cancelled or limited due to Covid-19 restrictions last year. But there's a lot more planned across the region this year.
