Manchester City, Manchester United and the other remaining 18 Premier League clubs could be set for a huge financial windfall as a result of three American TV giants battling it out to secure the rights to show top-flight English football.
CBS, ESPN and NBC are all battling it out to secure the rights to broadcast Premier League football for a staggering $2billion [£1,488,120,000].
Following the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in early-2020, there were fears that the attraction and interest in the Premier League from the United States may have eased, but it is now reported by the Financial Times that the latest sale of TV rights could be double of what was previously negotiated back in 2015.
