A frightened mum claims eight Pot Noodles were stolen from her home during a break-in which sparked a large police response including a helicopter.

The emergency services responded after a man reportedly climbed on a nearby roof, with a police helicopter understood to have been dispatched to the scene Officers from Merseyside Police were called out to reports of the suspected burglary on Knowsley Road, St Helens, at around 5:15am on November 17, the Echo reports.
