Raging Scott Brown has let rip at referee Iain Sneddon for 'making the game about himself' during Ayr United's clash with Morton - claiming the whistler said something to him that 'wasn't appropriate.'Brown's Ayr battled out a 1-1 draw with Dougie Imrie's team at Somerset Park that moved them both a point further clear of danger.
Kirk Broadfoot had put the 'Ton in front before Anton Dowds equalised and neither team could break the deadlock after the break despite Ayr boasting the better chances in the Championship clash.
It was a feisty game that saw five players booked and Celtic hero Brown was also cautioned at the half-time interval. And he revealed his dressing down from the man in the middle was 'inappropriate.' Assessing the ref's performance, an angry Brown said: "The referee made the game about himself.
It was obviously a big occasion for him. I was booked at half time - he said a few things to me that weren't appropriate but it should be more about the two teams than him."Our lads dealt with what was a stop-start game very well.
