Podcast studio QCODE has tapped Apple veteran Steve Wilson as chief strategy officer. In his new role, Wilson will oversee partnerships, marketing and distribution for the company behind fiction podcasts Blackout, Carrier and Dirty Diana.

He will also work with the QCODE executive team to develop its content strategy. "Bringing Steve aboard is really a milestone for us," says QCODE founder and CEO Rob Herting, who says he first met Wilson while working on the release of Blackout. "Steve’s experience and relationships within the podcasting community run so deep." Wilson joins QCODE after 15 years at Apple, where he became an early champion of podcasts when he moved onto that team in 2014.
