Owner Leonora Belcher's dog walker raced the 10-month-old pooch to her local vet before he was sent to Vets Now’s pet emergency hospital for overnight care and monitoring.
Thankfully Rye pulled through, but cafe boss Leonora is calling on dog owners to take special care in beauty spots after the vets reported a rise in similar cases as more folk choose to socialise outdoors.Leonora, 31, from Bearsden said: "I was at work and Rye was out with his dog walker.
