Princess Eugenie’s christening for her baby son August was cancelled last minute due to a Covid scare, it has been claimed.The christening was due to take place on Saturday for Eugenie’s baby son August, and the Queen was believed to have been attending the special event.
However, an attendee is said to have tested positive for Covid or received an alert from the NHS app, meaning the gathering had to be cancelled.The christening was set to take place at Royal Chapel of All Saints according to reports, with less than 30 people invited.There was then to be a reception at Royal Lodge, but the event was scrapped due to the Covid scare.
