Princess Anne made an impromptu visit outside one of Stirling's finest pie shops today during a whirlwind visit.The Princess Royal was spotted getting out of a vehicle in the city's Port Street and mingled with gathering crowds outside the Hugh Black & Sons shop on Tuesday afternoon.In a short video clip, posted by staff at the Stons store - a clothing boutique in Port Street - posted footage to their Facebook page.Princess Anne pulled up a large grey Range Rovers, flanked by security.Upon exiting the vehicle, the Princess was greeted by The Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk, Alan Simpson, and shared a moment with Stirling Council Provost Elaine Watterson and council chief executive Caroline Sinclair.A curious crowd had gathered and there was also a police presence in the area during the visit.It remains unclear why the Princess was in the city and if she sampled any of the tasty treats from the butcher shop.
