Prince William tells emotional mourner not to cry saying 'you'll start me'
ok.co.ukPrince William almost became overcome with emotion as a member of the public began to cry while chatting to him.The Prince of Wales chatted to people at Sandringham earlier today, Tuesday September 15, as he viewed floral tributes laid out for his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
He was joined by his wife Kate, the new Princess of Wales. Speaking to mourners who’d come to see the royal pair, one member of the public began to cry.
This then brought Prince William himself close to tears as he sweetly told the person: “Don’t cry now - you’ll start me,” Mirror Online reports.
While chatting to the public, William also told another person that the Queen’s procession from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Hall reminded him of Princess Diana’s funeral.
