Polish lorry driver caught smuggling £1.9m of 'Rolls Royce' cocaine into UK

jailed after attempting to smuggle almost £2million worth of "Rolls Royce" cocaine into Britain. Erwin Jozef Kuchowicz, 37, had 24 kilos of cocaine hidden in a locker inside the cabin of his truck with the packages covered with the logo of the luxury car.

Once cut and sold, the drugs would have had an estimated street value of £1.9million. The driver, from the village of Zaniemy, 300km west of Warsaw, was stopped by Border Force officials at Dover in Kent last December.Once the officials discovered the drugs, he was arrested and interviewed by National Crime Agency investigators.Several hours after his arrest, Kuchowicz claimed two men had stopped him at a service station and issued threats against his family if he did not carry the drugs.
