Police Scotland is appealing for information following a serious two-vehicle crash in Livingston.The incident happened around 12.30pm on Tuesday, December 7, on the A71 Bankton Road, between the Lizzie Brice and Newpark roundabouts.A white Ford Focus car was travelling Eastbound and Blue Volvo lorry was travelling Westbound when the collision happened.As a result, the 70-year-old male driver of the Ford Focus, and a 67-year-old female passenger, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.The 41-year-old male lorry driver was not injured.The road was closed for around six-and-a-half hours to allow for crash investigation and recovery of the vehicles.Sergeant Peter Houston, of Livingston Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are
