Police dog Ted helps detain suspected flasher after car chase in Trafford

across Trafford this evening. They identified a suspect in a car and after a short chase he crashed. It is not known exactly where the pursuit came to an end, but a picture shared by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) showed a Ford Focus with its front end lodged in some bushes.

The suspect is said to have attempted to run away after crashing.However a dog unit was called in and they said a police pooch called Ted helped them detain the suspect who has now been arrested.In a post on their Facebook page GMP Trafford South said: "Following a number of concerning reports regarding a male exposing himself across the Trafford District, officers engaged in a short pursuit resulting in the vehicle crashing and a male trying to make off from officers.
