Tax Credits are being warned about scams, with criminals sending out messages purporting to be from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), as the deadline approaches.People who receive the financial top-up have just one week left to tell HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) about any changes to their circumstances or income as the deadline for renewal is July 31.

Customers who received an annual review pack or text and have already made their declaration, including confirming their income and circumstances, do not need to do anything else.But, you could be at risk from online fraudsters if you haven't already done so.
