Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Oasis tribute band announce Scotland tour to warm fans up ahead of 2025 Murrayfield gig

Oasis have blown up the internet this morning as they confirmed their 2025 reunion tour, which will be coming to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium for two nights next August.Fans have been waiting 15 years for the Gallagher brothers to put their differences aside since their abrupt split in 2009 and that time is finally here.Noel and Liam Gallagher both took to social media this morning (August 27) to announce: "This is it, this is happening" as they confirmed a string of UK and Ireland Oasis tour dates next summer.After a decade and a half, fans are bursting with excitement to finally see the iconic 90s band reunite.

However, if you find you can't wait any longer, here's a quick fix for the meantime that means you could see all your favourite Oasis songs live in just a few months time.Scots tribute band Definitely Oasis will be playing a string of shows across the UK in the coming months including seven Scottish dates.

The band have evolved in recent years from playing "small gigs" more than a decade ago to selling-out the 1,900-capacity Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow.Definitely Oasis, who have been hailed as the top Oasis tribute band around the world by die hard fans of the Manchester rock band said they woke up to a "crazy" amount of requests on Tuesday morning after Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed the pair will tour again.The tribute band will be performing a best of set between 1994 & 2009 to warm Scots fans up before the real deal next year, playing shows in Airdrie, Fife, Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow this year.
