Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
One America News Network broadcast a very quick segment Monday in which it reported flatly that “Georgia officials concluded that there was no widespread voter fraud by election workers who counted ballots at the State Farm Arena in November 2020.” Watch it below.False claims of fraud against Georgia election workers were repeatedly “amplified” by former President Donald Trump’s then-lawyer Rudy Guiliani on the network last year, according to a defamation lawsuit filed December by Fulton County election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea Moss against One America News Network.According to AP, the duo sued OAN, its owners and its chief White House correspondent in December over debunked claims that they committed fraud in order to alter the outcome of the election in Georgia.
The lawsuit reportedly was settled last month, which may be the reason for Monday’s segment, which mentions them by name.It continues: “The results of this investigation indicate that Ruby Freeman and Wandrea ‘Shaye’ Moss did not engage in ballot fraud or criminal misconduct.
A legal matter with this network and the two election workers has been resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the parties through a fair and reasonable settlement.”Ironically, the 30 second segment was immediately proceeded by three-plus minutes on Dinesh D’Souza’s movie about “possible election fraud.”OAN got some attention today for "admitting" there was no widespread fraud in GA in 2020, likely to settle a defamation suit from 2 poll workers. But OAN promoted Dinesh D'Souza's dumb election fraud movie just before this "admission." Nothing really changed. (h/t @mount_bees) pic.twitter.com/jJtxZsWRqG— Bobby Lewis (@revrrlewis) May 10, 2022New and returning series on broadcast,
