Sony recently announced that it plans to increase the retail price of the popular PlayStation 5 console across many of its global markets.
The technology giant confirmed that the new price for the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will go to £479.99 while the Digital Edition will go to £389.99 - this is up from £449.9 and £359.99 respectively.
Following the announcement, many gamers were concerned that their favourite consoles will increase alongside the PS5.
