Heather Knox has been appointed interim chief executive of NHS Lanarkshire.Heather, who is currently NHS Lanarkshire’s deputy chief executive and director of acute services, will take on her new role on June 15, from Calum Campbell who has been appointed interim chief executive of NHS Lothian.Neena Mahal, Chair of NHS Lanarkshire, said: “We are delighted to appoint Heather as interim chief executive of NHS Lanarkshire.

She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills to the post, and made a sterling contribution as acting chief executive earlier this year.“Heather’s leadership of our acute services has made a huge impact on our ability to deliver the best possible care to the people of Lanarkshire.
