Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has insisted that he is now a supporter of Manchester City after switching his allegiance from following Liverpool.

The 38-year-old NFL legend, who has been recently in the UK as his Packers' side faced off against the New York Giants in London, was quizzed on which 'soccer' team has his backing.

He had previously declared his admiration for former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard during his playing days but says he now prefers City. ''City.
