Newly appointed Teen Vogue editor-in-chief, Alexi McCammond, has found herself at the centre of a race storm over anti-Asian tweets she posted in 2011.
The controversy has forced her to issue a public apology for her online comments which she admitted were both ‘offensive’ and ‘idiotic’.
In a bid to head off the growing unease over her appointment Ms McCammond posted a statement on her Twitter during the week.
