New Monklands Hospital: public consultation on project plans

NHS Lanarkshire has launched the official public consultation on its proposals for the new Monklands Hospital, and will submit its planning application to North Lanarkshire Council later this year.

It will include two interactive online events, while a video and dedicated website have been shared showing details of the “visionary project” at Wester Moffat.

Views are now being sought from patients, staff and residents on the proposals – including the “village” design concept for the new building and arrangement of departments; access, travel and parking arrangements; and innovative plans for it to be a digital and net zero hospital.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
