Netflix's new baking competition show Is it Cake? will be treating us to fun, hilarity and some much-need light relief this Spring.

And giving us some ingenious cake inspiration too. Inspired by a popular meme and viral food trend, the eight-part series will follow some of the world's most talented and skilled bakers as they create hyper-realistic cakes that look like replicas of handbags, sewing machines, cheeseburgers and more, with a big cash prize on the line.

The cake artists will aim to deceive a panel of celebrity judges into believing that their cake is actually an everyday object.

Until it will be ceremoniously sliced upon by host Michael Day. Talented bakers must deceive a panel of celebrity judges with their hyper-realistic cakes.

Glastonbury has announced the 90 acts on their longlist for this year’s Emerging Talent Competition.The annual contest sees rising talent submitting their music in the hopes of winning a slot on one of the Worthy Farm festival’s main stages.Supported by PRS For Music and the PRS Foundation, the 2022 Emerging Talent Competition longlist has been selected by a panel of 30 music writers, with that group now set to be whittled down to a shortlist of eight by judges including members of the Glastonbury team.The winners will then be decided at a forthcoming live event in Pilton, the Somerset town where the festival is based.
