Netflix confirms new Benedict Cumberbatch drama release date
manchestereveningnews.co.ukNetflix have confirmed the release date for a new thriller series starring British actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Eric, a limited six-part series, sees the Dr Strange actor take on the role of an anxious dad whose young son has gone missing.
The series is set in 1980s New York and was created by BAFTA and Emmy Award-winner Abi Morgan, whose previous work includes The Hour, The Iron Lady and The Split.
Benedict stars as Vincent, one of New York’s leading puppeteers and creator of the hugely popular children’s television show Good Day Sunshine.
