The woman wasn’t aware that the drawer could be removed from the machine so it could be thoroughly cleaned and she was shocked at how dirty it had become.
Houseproud mum Faith managed to slide the drawer when she noticed she could push down one of the parts. This allowed her to get a good look at the drawer, which was looking rather dirty.
Faith began cleaning it using a combination of warm water with washing up liquid, a toothbrush and a cloth. She was able to get her washing machine drawer sparkling clean once more after “a lot of scrubbing”.
