A mum is 'made up' after bagging a 4-star break to Barcelona for under £33. Nicola Phipps, from Warrington, bought a three-night city break for two adults to the 4-star Melia Barcelona Sky hotel for the exact sum of £32.92.

She managed this through the operator's 'Bid for a Break' promotion which allows hopeful holidaymakers to bid at little as they choose for a trip.

The only way to win this however is to make your bid unique, so it needs to be the lowest, but can be the only bid of that amount. She said: "I had a notification on the app to advise ‘Bid for a Break’ was back.. "I never thought that I’d actually win! I’m absolutely made up and can’t wait to go on this break!
