Missing man, 33, from Derbyshire may be in Manchester

Police in Derbyshire who are trying to track down a missing man say they believe he might be in the Manchester area. Nauris Berzins, 33, was last seen leaving his home in Heanor on Friday (April 29).

He has not been in touch with his family since 3.30pm that day. It is thought that Nauris travelled to Manchester to meet a relative.

At the time of his disappearance, he was driving in his blue Citroen C5 car and was planning on staying at a hotel overnight. READ MORE: Ex-councillor bit lover on nose during drunken hotel row Nauris is described as being 5ft 6in with short, blonde and curly hair.

He was last seen wearing blue trousers, a white t-shirt and boots. He also has a distinct hand tattoo. In a statement, Derbyshire Constabulary said: "We are concerned for Nauris Berzins who has been reported missing from his home in Heanor.
