Metrolink running reduced Boxing Day service due to covid-related staff shortage

There's a reduced service on the Metrolink on Boxing Day due to covid-related staff shortages. Trams will be running every 20 minutes on all lines, while there will also be changes to the times of the last services tonight.

But extra trams will be put on on the Ashton line for fans going to the Manchester City versus Leicester match at the Etihad Stadium at 3pm.

Transport for Greater Manchester say the changes have been brought in to 'ensure we are able to operate services as scheduled'.
