Council staff shortages due to Covid have impacted services

Bin collections are among the South Lanarkshire Council services to have been impacted by staff shortages due to coronavirus.The authority has said it is dealing with "high levels of Covid-related absence", and that staff are working hard catch up with the impacted routes.Social care and education are also described as being "under pressure".The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
