Met Office weather forecast as temperatures predicted to reach 21C across Greater Manchester

Temperatures across the north west of England could reach up to 21C this week, according to the Met Office. After a chilly and damp start to the week, parts of the UK could see some unseasonably warm weather over the next couple of days.

Skies are set to be mostly cloudy but there will be some sunny intervals towards the end of this week - and fewer showers too. Temperatures are set to hit a maximum of 20C across the region, which is "quite warm for the time of year", forecasters say.
