Maura Higgins steps out with new blonde hair complete with wavy full fringe
ok.co.ukWhen you think of Maura Higgins’ hair during her time in the spotlight, only one colour comes to mind: brunette. With the exception of fancy dress appearances, the Irish beauty has always been a brunette since she first appeared on Love Island in 2019 – until now that is.
Stepping out for the 2022 Gossie Awards in Dublin with a chic updo created by her go-to hairdresser Carl Bembridge, the 31 year old appears to have had a touch of balayage to take her hair much lighter in tone, with her fringe and the ends of her hair now visibly blonde.
As well as congratulating Maura on her wins for Most Stylish Lady and Best Female TV Presenter for her work on the Irish edition of Glow Up, fans were quick to comment on how great she looked on the red carpet. “Love the hair!” one fan wrote in the comments section of Maura’s Instagram post of her look, as another added, “OMG I thought you were Kendall Jenner on that first pic!” Meanwhile a third follower agreed, “Wow absolutely stunning” as a fourth chimed in with, “Congratulations Maura you look stunning as always”.
Of course, this isn’t the only time that the Irish beauty has changed up her hairstyle to the delight of her fans, as she’s a big fan of a clip-in full fringe.
