ok.co.ukMatthew Perry was in "extremely good spirits" before his sudden death, says the 'mystery brunette' who he was spotted having lunch with.Twenty five year old model Athenna Crosby was photographed dining with the former Friends star, 54, at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles on Friday, 27 October.
Despite rumours that they may have been dating, Athenna has confirmed they were just friends and met through a mutual friend a few months ago.
She said that Matthew was chatting "enthusiastically about the things that he had coming up in his life," and revaled that he was "so happy and vibrant".
The actor from the much-loved sitcom sadly died on Saturday, apparently drowning in a jacuzzi at his $5million home. Law enforcement sources said only prescription drugs were found at the property, reporting "antidepressants, anti-anxiety drugs and a COPD drug in the house".The star had previously spent $9million battling his drugs and alcohol addiction, including 15 trips to rehab, in an attempt to get clean.
